The on-site leasing center is now open at The Mews at Edison Lofts in Edison Village, Prism Capital Partners’ industrial-to-residential redevelopment of the historic Thomas Edison Invention Factory and Commerce Center in West Orange, N.J. The Mews features a boutique collection of 34 one- and two-bedroom new construction homes with spacious layouts.

Edison Village represents the largest non-waterfront adaptive-reuse project in New Jersey, encompassing 21 acres on Main Street in the heart of West Orange Township’s Downtown Redevelopment. Phase I, which includes The Mews, involves the total renovation and reconstruction of the 100-year-old factory complex, introducing 334 rental units, 18,400 square feet of retail with a supporting 630-space parking structure.

At the new leasing center, a leasing team is on site to meet prospective residents, give presentations and tours of the modern homes – including fully furnished and decorated models – and share information about the wide range of amenities at The Mews.

The market-rate residences at The Mews range from 796 to 1,336 square feet and are situated above the ground-floor retail space. In addition, homes at The Mews boast designer kitchens with granite countertops, stainless steel appliances and wood detailing throughout. Monthly rents start at $2,100.

Residents will have access to a private fitness center with sauna and steam rooms, indoor swimming pool with a hot tub, rooftop outdoor lounge with views of the Manhattan skyline, park-like green spaces, personal and bike storage, media/screening room, business center, private dining room and doorman service, among other amenities, such as covered parking and a dog wash. Convenient shuttle service will be available to the Orange Train Station for a quick commute into Manhattan.
