S. L. Nusbaum Realty Co. is pleased to announce the groundbreaking of Phase II of Valor Apartment Homes, a 120-unit contemporary affordable housing community.
The completion of this project will bring the total number of units to 248. The 128-unit first phase of Valor Apartments Homes was completed in early 2017.
The site is located on Fall Hill Avenue, directly across from Wegman’s and within walking distance to Central Park. The site will also feature 78 townhomes, which will be available for sale and are being developed by Stanley Martin Homes.
Phase II of Valor will offer spacious 1, 2 and 3 bedroom floor plans and feature high-end finishes, such as granite countertops in the kitchens and baths, washers and dryers, a state-of-the-art clubhouse, fitness center, and resort style pool. The community has also been designed with many energy efficient features, which will help lower ongoing utility expenses for residents.
Phase II will begin leasing in the Spring of 2019.
The community was designed by TS3 Architects and Bowman Consulting, and Morgan Keller Construction of Frederick, MD is the General Contractor.
S.L. Nusbaum Realty Co. worked with Virginia Housing Development Authority (VHDA), Wells Fargo, and TowneBank to secure financing for the project.
