Vickers in historic Roswell opens

Miller Lowry Developments & Kim King Associates’ Mixed-Use Project Features High-End Apartments, Street-Level Retail & Rooftop Deck

Vickers, a new mixed-use development in Historic Roswell by Miller Lowry Developments (MLD) and Kim King Associates, has welcomed its first residents.

Combining modern luxury with the historic charm of Canton Street, Vickers has 80 apartment homes featuring 10-foot ceilings, crown molding, custom cabinets and oversized walk-in closets. They surround several open, landscaped courtyards with fountains, fire pits and outdoor furniture just feet from the historic thoroughfare in the heart of downtown Roswell, Georgia.

“We have been building in historic Roswell for many years, and we have helped develop the character for which the community is known,” said Miller Lowry, CEO, MLD. “With Vickers, we have delivered a first-class development that will bring more people to the urban core and offer residents wonderful, walkable restaurants and shopping.”

Extraordinary care was taken in the design of the project by Rule Joy Trammell + Rubio. Vickers has an all-brick facade and metal-framed windows along Canton Street representing the area’s history as a mill town.

Over the last decade the city has attracted sought-after retailers and world-class restaurants. While reflecting Roswell’s history, Vickers ties into these newer trends with large, open retail space with outdoor patios and luxurious apartment homes. Units range from three-bedroom to one-bedroom, all with private, covered balconies, oversized, frameless showers, designer tile, premium quartz countertops and designer series, dual-fuel gas ranges.

Market leading amenities include a rooftop deck with grill and wet bar, Wi-Fi enabled lounge with flat screen TV, drop down laptop station and gourmet coffee bar and temperature controlled storage units. Vickers has controlled building access and dedicated covered and gated parking. It is also pet-friendly.

In addition to Vickers, MLD has built several destination communities in downtown Roswell, including Blacksmith Row, a four-town home development, and Green Street Village and Canton Oaks, both successful luxury mixed-use communities.
