Timberland Partners, a privately-owned real estate investment, development and management firm, has announced leasing has begun at Elevate at Southwest Station, the much-anticipated new apartment building located in Eden Prairie. Elevate features 222 contemporary studio, one-, two-bedroom, and penthouse apartments, located just steps away from the existing SouthWest Station Metro Transit Center and the planned SouthWest Station LRT stop for the Green Line extension. The project will also include just over 13,000 square feet of retail space, offering a variety of restaurants, retailers and services.
“Elevate offers an urban lifestyle in a suburban setting and is a great example of well thought out transit-oriented development” said Ryan Sailer, Vice President of Development with Timberland Partners. “The services, amenities, transportation and neighborhood access that Elevate will provide to residents are unparalleled.”
Elevate residents will be treated to a rooftop courtyard overlooking Purgatory Creek Park with pool, outdoor kitchen and bocce court. Additional amenities include a community room, family game room, resident co-working space, package center, heated indoor parking with bike storage, playground, indoor/outdoor dog run, and pet spa. The building’s fitness offerings include a yoga studio and a fitness center with the latest cardio, strength, and CrossFit equipment, in addition to a virtual fitness on-demand studio.
Elevate apartments are designed with diverse layouts, featuring modern, stylish fixtures and features in each unit. Kitchens are equipped with energy efficient stainless-steel appliances, large islands with quartz countertops and two cabinet color options. Designer lighting, luxury wood plank flooring, walk-in closets, and full-size washers and dryers round out the modern amenities. Master bedrooms include walk-in closets and kitchens will come with built-in USB charging ports.
Sustainable features include a green roof, rainwater cistern and permeable pavers along with electric car charging stations. Residents also receive access to the services and amenities available in the Southwest Station area, including multiple restaurants, retail and access to bike paths, jogging trails and park spaces.
The $63.7 million, 222-unit mixed-income and mixed-use project was designed by Kaas Wilson Architects and is being constructed by Frana Companies, both based in Minneapolis.
Elevate is located at 12900 Technology Drive in Eden Prairie and will be ready for occupancy in late August 2019.
