American Landmark Apartments, one of the fastest-growing multifamily owner-operators in the country, announces it has acquired the Delaney Apartments in Concord, a suburb to the northeast of Charlotte, N.C. The property has been renamed The Elliott.
This is American Landmark’s eighth multifamily community in the Charlotte metro area.
“Greater Charlotte’s job growth outlook is extremely positive, and we anticipate a lot of in-migration from other parts of the country this year, as in prior years – hence, intensifying demand for well-located and well managed apartment communities with the full range of resort-style amenities,” said Christine DeFilippis, Chief Investment Officer of American Landmark.
According to a recently published economic forecast from the University of North Carolina, Charlotte, all 14 of the state’s nonagricultural economic sectors are expected to experience employment increases in 2022. The state is expected to add 124,400 jobs this year. Charlotte is already home to 13 Fortune 500 companies based in the state and has a low unemployment rate of 3.6 percent.
Built in 2010 and located at 4600 MBA Court, The Elliott offers one-, two- and three-bedroom floor plans ranging from 851 to 1,485 square feet. Apartments feature 9-foot ceilings with elegant crown molding; fully equipped kitchens with granite countertops, built-in appliances and modern finishes; in-unit washer/dryer; large walk-in closets, a private spacious patio, balcony or sunroom; two-inch faux-wood blinds, garden tubs (select apartments), and handicap-accessible apartments.
The pet-friendly community offers an array of resort-style amenities including carriage-style apartments with attached garages, gourmet outdoor kitchen and picnic area, swimming pool with WiFi hot spots, 20-seat theater and tiered seating with 120-inch screen, 24-hour fitness center, clubhouse with billiards and game room, a business center and car care center, indoor basketball court, volleyball court, playground and 24-hour emergency maintenance.
The property is conveniently located just a few minutes from I-85 and Davidson Highway, across the street from Rowan-Cabarrus Community College, and 30 minutes from downtown Charlotte and major employment drivers.
