High Street Residential announced the completion of Matson Mill, a 280-unit apartment community outside of Philadelphia

High Street Residential, the residential subsidiary of Trammell Crow Company, along with its partner, MetLife Investment Management, announced the completion of Matson Mill, a 280-unit apartment community outside of Philadelphia. The five-story property is located at 101 Washington Street in Conshohocken, Pa. along the banks of the Schuylkill River.

Matson Mill spans 317,740 square feet and offers a mix of studio, one- and two-bedroom luxury units, with a majority offering views of the river. The development includes a robust collection of amenities, including a resort-style club room with an entertainment kitchen; a game room; a conference/private lounge area; a state-of-the-art fitness center; a quiet lounge; a large package and mail room; a dog wash station; on-site bike storage; and an entry lobby/train waiting area. Residents also have access to outdoor courtyards that have views of the river and include a resort-style pool, an outdoor kitchen and outdoor seating areas with fire pits.

“Matson Mill is an incredible property that is opening at a time when Consohocken is thriving. Given the proximity to Philadelphia via mass transit, the property affords residents the best of the city and the suburbs – such as ample green space and larger floorplans than they might find in Center City,” said Chris Sencindiver, Principal with TCC’s Northeast Metro office. “There are several great bars and restaurants close to the property, along with great hiking trails along the river. The area has become a live-work-play destination and we’re proud to offer a high-end residential product that is attracting renters from all over.”

Matson Mill is directly adjacent to the SEPTA Regional Rail station, which can transport residents to Center City Philadelphia in 30 minutes. Hord, Coplan & Macht, Inc. designed the project and IMC Construction was the general contractor. Bozzuto is handling property management and leasing duties.

“Despite beginning work during the depths of the pandemic and being subject to disruptions from Hurricane Ida, the project was completed within the original project schedule. This reflects the professionalism, creativity, and can-do attitude of High Street Residential and the entire project team,” said Michael Lloyd, Chief Operating Officer at IMC Construction. “IMC is thrilled to have been a partner on this project and proud to be deliver this incredible building to the Conshohocken market.”
