Moving forward

An institution within the multifamily industry for over 75 years, the National Apartment Association (NAA) spans 73,000 members and 9 million units around the world. It’s events mark history, and its operational value and camaraderie amongst members mobilize enterprises.

429
2017 NAA Apartmentalize Conference in Atlanta brought in record attendance and featured prominent speakers like Robin Roberts and gold medalist Michael Phelps.

NAA’s mission is to both increase the professionalism of the industry through education and to represent its interests in legislative and regulatory matters at the federal, state and local levels.

As an extension of NAA’s new logo in 2015, the group is now renaming its conferences and events.

The NAA’s annual Education Conference and Exposition is the largest event in the multifamily industry and brings together attendees from all over the world. Starting with the San Diego event in 2018, the conference will be formally renamed, Apartmentalize. The focus of the conference will remain on education with over 50 sessions, and on improving operations, and with the opportunity to connect with over 500 vendors in the exposition.

The NAA Student Housing Conference & Exposition is now CampusConnex. This conference is similar in structure to Apartmentalize but with an intense focus on issues unique to the student housing market. The February 2018 conference will be held in Orlando.

The NAA Capitol Conference & Lobby Day has been renamed Advocate. This event provides attendees the opportunity to receive briefings on issues affecting the multifamily industry as well as an opportunity to speak directly with members of congress about their concerns. Advocate will take place in March in Washington, D.C.
