NMHC/NAA thank Pam Patenaude for her years of service, look forward to working with Brian Montgomery

Statement from the National Multifamily Housing Council (NMHC) and National Apartment Association (NAA) on the news that HUD Deputy Secretary Pam Patenaude intends to resign, and that FHA Commissioner Brian Montgomery will serve as acting deputy secretary.

“NMHC/NAA thank Deputy Secretary Patenaude for her decades of service to the country. She has been a proven, experienced leader and instrumental in developing policies that have improved lives and communities across the country. We wish her and her family the best.

“NMHC/NAA look forward to continuing our work with Brian Montgomery as he serves as acting deputy secretary. Montgomery is a seasoned veteran on the important housing issues facing the nation and we expect to continue our strong, proactive relationship with him, Secretary Carson and the wider HUD team over the coming months and years.”
