1 Wall Street—also known as the Irving Trust Company Building, the Bank of New York Building and the BNY Mellon Building—is located in the Financial District of Lower Manhattan, New York City. The original art deco building was completed in 1931. A 36-story annex to the south was added in 1965. Harry Macklowe purchased the building in 2014, previously headquarters for Irving Trust Company and the Bank of New York with the goal of turning it into apartments.
