GREA has announced the $11.4 million sale of Westside Crossing in Atlanta. GREA represented the seller, Greenleaf Partners, who sold the asset to Zavala Capital. Taylor Brown, Chandler Brown and Mack Leath of GREA managed the sale.
Westside Crossing is located at 2265 Perry Boulevard. This apartment community is a 1962-built garden-style multifamily asset featuring 112 units with studio, one-, two- and three-bedroom floorplans and is made up of 10 two-story buildings. The property is strategically located in Atlanta’s Upper Westside at the convergence Vinings, Buckhead and Midtown. Each unit includes multiple luxurious appliances as well as plenty of space for resident and guest parking.
“The sale of Westside Crossing epitomizes the investor mantra of buying a property in the path of progress,” said Taylor Brown, managing director of GREA in Atlanta. “With hundreds of new homes being built on the west side of the Inman Rail Yard, economic development has literally jumped to the other side of the tracks. Zavala Capital will do quite well and benefit from this quickly growing submarket.”
Greenleaf Partners purchased the property in 2016 and immediately began renovating each unit within the complex, bringing them up to modern living standards. By 2018, the majority of units were restored to livable conditions featuring brand-new interior finishes, updated utilities, along with many modern amenities. Tenants now experience high-end living at Westside Crossing.
