Cushman & Wakefield announced the commercial real estate services firm has arranged the sale of Harlow, a brand new 303-unit multifamily community in Atlanta’s Smyrna submarket.
Robert Stickel, Alex Brown, Ashlyn Warren, Michael Kay, and Sim Patrick of Cushman & Wakefield represented the seller in the transaction. The multifamily community was sold by South City Partners and acquired by RA Capital Partners.
“South City Partners thoughtfully designed and developed Harlow. Then, executed on a well-timed disposition after a strong and swift lease up that has displayed Cumberland’s strong multifamily fundamentals,” said Stickel, Executive Vice Chair at Cushman & Wakefield.
The community’s ideal location provides exceptional access to The Battery, Atlanta’s top entertainment district and home of the Atlanta Braves, as well as desirable outdoor lifestyle amenities. More than 450,000 jobs are also directly accessible within a 15-minute drive, further benefiting Harlow residents.
“RA Capital Partners successfully executed on a unique transaction structure which allowed them to acquire this Core Infill Arc asset in a submarket that has had the highest rent growth in Atlanta over the past five years. Harlow will benefit from its proximity to The Battery, as well its connectivity to greenspace, employment and high-end residential,” added Brown, Executive Managing Director at Cushman & Wakefield.
