JLL Capital Markets announced that it has arranged the $11.85 million refinancing of JG Whittier, a newly constructed, 54-unit, mid-rise apartment community located in the Ballard neighborhood of Seattle, Washington.
JLL worked on behalf of the borrower, FFV Crown Hill, LLC., to secure the five-year, fixed-rate loan through National Life Group. The JLL Capital Markets Debt Advisory team was led by Senior Director Seth Heikkila and Associate Steve Petrie.
Completed in 2023, JG Whittier consists of studio, one- and two-bedroom apartment homes with extra-large operable windows, solid surface countertops, stainless steel appliances, full-size washer and dryers and spacious closets. Community amenities include a rooftop pet play area with washing station, a rooftop deck with green space, walking paths and multiple seating areas, a fireplace lobby and lounge, a media room, electric vehicle charging stations, a sundeck and a business center. The property also features 2,819 square feet of retail space on the ground floor.
The community is within proximity to all of Ballard’s extensive amenities, including many of the city’s best bars and restaurants, and within a two-mile radius of the property is over 4.9 million square feet of retail. Residents also have convenient access to South Lake Union and its numerous employment opportunities, a stunning waterfront and views of Puget Sound, as well as outdoor recreational activities at the Golden Gardens Beach, Ballard Locks, Gilman Playground, Woodland Park Zoo and Discovery Park.
