Dustin Slack Returns to The Opus Group as Vice President and General Manager of Real Estate Development in Austin Texas

In his new role, he will source development opportunities in central Texas. Slack previously worked for Opus from 2016 to 2021 in the Phoenix market, primarily pursuing multifamily development. He has almost thirty years of experience in real estate development and architecture. Slack will report to Larry Pobuda, executive vice president of Opus, who also leads the Phoenix and Denver markets for Opus.

The Opus Group® (Opus) announced that Dustin Slack has been appointed to vice president and general manager of real estate development, based in Austin, Texas.

Slack previously he held positions at Milhaus, JPI, Forestar Group, McShane Development Company, Trammell Crow Residential, GFF Architects and Womack + Hampton Multifamily Architects.

Dustin Slack graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a bachelor’s degree in architecture and earned a master’s degree in business administration from Southern Methodist University. He is a member of the National Multi-Housing Council, Urban Land Institute and Real Estate Council of Austin.
