Houston-based real estate firm Venterra Realty broke ground earlier this month on Camber Ridge, a 312-unit multifamily addition to Houston-based developer Johnson Development Corp.’s Cross Creek Ranch, a master-planned community covering 3,200 acres in Fulshear, Texas.
Located 30 miles west of downtown Houston, Camber Ridge is located on the Texas Heritage Parkway, offering access by car to nearby Katy, Sugar Land and Richmond/Rosenberg, as well as Houston’s employment centers within a 45-minute commute. A future elementary school and the Lamar Consolidated Education Center, which includes two middle schools and a high school, are located close by.
“Fulshear is an exceptional investment opportunity due to its strategic location, flourishing economy and strong prospective renter base,” said John Foresi, CEO of Venterra Realty, in the release.
Venterra Realty manages more than 25,000 apartment units across approximately 85 communities in the Southeast and Texas, over 20 of which are in the Greater Houston area. Its portfolio of multifamily assets is currently valued at over $5 billion, according to the release.
Johnson Development is one of the nation’s leading residential and commercial land development companies and was established in 1975 by Larry Johnson. Employing approximately 100 industry professionals, the company currently has 20 projects under active development in Houston, Dallas-Fort Worth, Austin and Atlanta. These communities represent more than 80,000 residential units and 16.7 million square feet of retail and commercial space on 47,500 acres. Johnson Development has preserved or planted nearly 2 million trees within its developments.
