Cushman & Wakefield announced that the commercial real estate services firm has arranged the sale of The Flats at Westshore, a recently built 362-unit multifamily community located in Cumming, Georgia.
Robert Stickel, Alex Brown, Ashlyn Warren, Michael Kay, and Sim Patrick of Cushman & Wakefield represented the seller, Atlantic Residential, in the transaction. The community was acquired by Weinstein Properties.
“Atlantic Residential identified this unique opportunity to develop a mixed-use village along with The Flats at Westshore. They designed and delivered a differentiated multifamily asset with several attractive attributes including greenspace, ample amenities, and complementary retail in a walkable environment. The success here was marked by a strong lease-up with trending rents, and swift sale upon agency financing eligibility,” said Stickel, Executive Vice Chair at Cushman & Wakefield.
“Weinstein Properties added another great asset to their growing Atlanta portfolio with the acquisition of The Flats at Westshore. They were attracted to the community’s location in the renowned GA-400 North Corridor that benefits from Forsyth County’s high barriers to entry, excellent schools, compelling jobs, and population growth,” added Brown, Executive Managing Director at Cushman & Wakefield.
