One Degree Acquisitions (“ODA”), a commercial real estate investment firm focused on the acquisition and management of a diversified portfolio of core-plus, value-add, and opportunistic assets, is pleased to announce the appointment of Christopher Westcott as the company’s Principal, Managing Director of Acquisitions who will lead the new office in Phoenix, Arizona.
“Chris’s demonstrated leadership skills, coupled with his extensive track record both operating and acquiring real estate, make him the ideal addition to lead our acquisitions team,” said Stephen Henry, President and Founder of ODA. “We expect his contribution will accelerate our expansion east and throughout the Southwest from the newly established Phoenix office.”
The newly formed Phoenix office is a point of emphasis for ODA as it looks to replicate the company’s prior success in that market and provide the company better proximity for its further growth into the southwest and expansion into the growing Texas markets.

Before joining ODA, Chris was most recently Senior Vice President, Originations at Parse Capital. Prior to that he held pivotal roles at The Wolff Company, Black Creek/Ares, Jackson Square Properties, and Friedkin Realty Group, overseeing transactions totaling more than $2.5 billion in acquisitions and dispositions. He has demonstrated experience in sourcing, negotiating, executing, and managing multifamily assets across various markets, as well as leading initiatives into new markets.
