Chicago-based Draper and Kramer, Incorporated, a national full-service real estate firm, is pleased to announce that Kevin Cooky, assistant vice president, regional property manager and revenue manager, has been approved as a member of the Chicagoland Apartment Association (CAA) board of directors.
Kevin Cooky brings over 15 years of experience in real estate operations and management to the CAA board. His career with Draper and Kramer started in 2018 as general manager of 1350 North Lake Shore, a 740-unit rental property in Chicago’s Gold Coast neighborhood. He was promoted to his current position earlier this year from his prior role as revenue manager and general manager. Additionally, he has served as the firm’s in-house Yieldstar and Revenue IQ expert, working closely with Draper and Kramer’s multifamily sites to ensure occupancy stabilization and rent growth.
“We are proud of our firm’s long-standing relationship with CAA, an organization dedicated to serving the needs of the apartment industry across Chicagoland as a reliable source of information and training,” said Julie Stevlingson, senior vice president and director of management services at Draper and Kramer. “With his leadership skills and vast knowledge of property management and revenue metrics, Kevin is a fantastic addition to this prestigious board, and we are excited to have him representing Draper and Kramer in this capacity over the next two years.”
Kevin Cooky is an Illinois Licensed Real Estate Broker and a Certified Property Manager (CPM) through the Institute of Real Estate Management. He holds both bachelor’s and master’s of science degrees from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
