CBRE Secures Market-Leading Multifamily Team in Southern California with Rachel Parsons and Derrek Ostrzyzek

Led by Rachel Parsons and Derrek Ostrzyzek, the team will focus on the sale of institutional apartment communities and multifamily development/equity raises throughout the region. Since 2018, the team has successfully completed nearly $7 billion in multifamily transactions. The team joins CBRE from Berkadia.

CBRE announced that it has reinforced its institutional presence in Southern California with the addition of a market-leading multifamily investment sales team consisting of Rachel Parsons and Derrek Ostrzyzek.

Ms. Parsons joins as an Executive Vice President, bringing more than 20 years of industry experience. Throughout her career, she has participated in the sale of over $12 billion of multifamily transactions representing more than 40,000 units. She has previously worked for Moran & Company and prior to that spent 17 years at CBRE.

Mr. Ostrzyzek joins as an Executive Vice President, bringing more than 18 years of industry experience. Throughout his career, he has participated in the sale of $12 billion of multifamily transactions. With a unique perspective from his decade-long tenure on the principal side of the business, he offers valuable insights to the brokerage side. He has previously worked for Moran & Company and Invesco Real Estate.
