Sares Regis Group of Northern California (SRGNC) announced the start of leasing at The Martin, a modern new apartment community in downtown Sunnyvale, California.

The Martin rises 12 stories above Sunnyvale’s newest gathering spot, Redwood Square, steps away from the shops and restaurants of Historic Murphy Avenue and Cityline. Its 479 luxury apartments include studios, one-, two- and three-bedroom homes, along with penthouse and townhome options. Pre-leasing has commenced, with The Martin’s first residents expected to move in next month. The Flats and Flats West, which SRGNC delivered in 2018 and 2020, are fully occupied. The Martin’s new apartments will complement these two top-performing apartment communities.

“The Martin creates a stunning landmark for Cityline and offers a one-of-a-kind living opportunity in the center of downtown Sunnyvale,” said Jeff Smith, Director of Development/SVP for SRGNC. “We’re excited to welcome to the market the latest piece of our Cityline development just as more shops and restaurants open in Silicon Valley’s new destination to live, work and play.” The Martin will add eleven new retail spaces to the neighborhood, which will front the new one-acre Redwood Square to add vibrancy and dining options for downtown Sunnyvale’s residents and visitors.

The Martin’s on-site amenities include a pool and spa, club room, two state-of-the-art fitness centers, a sky lounge on the 11th floor with panoramic views, a 3,000-square-foot rooftop deck with outdoor BBQs, a pet spa, bike storage, and more. A new innovative co-working space for residents will also be off the main lobby. The Martin is seeking LEED® Certified certification and features all-electric, high-efficiency homes with stainless steel appliances, as well as contemporary cabinets with quartz countertops, ceramic tile bathtubs and showers, in-unit washers and dryers, central air-conditioning. The new residences will offer wall-to-wall wood-plank flooring, floor-to-ceiling windows, private balconies, and patios – most with stunning views.
