Marlboro Township Mayor Jonathan Hornik, along with fellow local officials and dignitaries, joined KRE Group principals on Wednesday, October 9th, to celebrate the opening of the township’s newest full-service apartment community: Beacon Hill.
Mayor Hornik led a ceremonial ribbon cutting, marking the official opening of the community and welcoming its first residents to Marlboro. Beacon Hill introduces a contemporary living option in this historic township, offering renters a low-maintenance, amenity-filled lifestyle. Leasing began earlier this year, and to date, more than 200 leases have been signed.
“We are delighted to host Mayor Hornik and township officials today as we celebrate the debut of Beacon Hill, a remarkable residential enclave that brings a fresh housing option to this desirable community,” said Jonathan Kushner, President of KRE Group. “Our goal was to provide residents with a blend of location, luxury, and value that is unmatched in Monmouth County. Judging by the strong leasing pace and positive feedback from our first residents, I believe we’ve accomplished that.”
Located at 100 Buckingham Street in the Morganville section of Marlboro Township, Beacon Hill presents an array of 285 new luxury residences in 14 three-story garden apartment buildings. Set across a serene, 47-acre park-like property, the community features a 4,000-square-foot clubhouse as its focal point. Beacon Hill combines modern design with high-end amenities and services, catering to today’s discerning renters.
The community’s name reflects Marlboro’s historical significance as one of three key sites in Monmouth County where signal beacons were lit during the Revolutionary War to alert local militia to British advances. KRE Group drew inspiration from this heritage, expressed through subtle design choices that embrace the revolutionary spirit of 1779.
Mayor Jonathan Hornik stated, “I am pleased to welcome Beacon Hill, a new premium community offering top-tier amenities, to Marlboro. The residents of Beacon Hill have chosen to make Marlboro their home, a testament to the Town’s reputation as one of the premier suburban communities in the State. We are a welcoming and vibrant community with many open public spaces for recreation, restaurants and houses of worship, and residents involved in all facets of volunteerism. Marlboro also offers a wide array of events that brings our community together throughout the year, including those which honor our veterans and celebrate our holidays and rich culture. In order to make the most of these opportunities and stay updated, I encourage you to visit our Town website and register for email alerts. Welcome to Marlboro and I look forward to meeting you.”

Beacon Hill offers residents the best of both worlds: a quiet, tucked-away location with easy access to urban conveniences. The community is just a short drive from downtown Red Bank, Freehold, NJ TRANSIT’s Aberdeen-Matawan station, and major roadways like the Garden State Parkway and Routes 34, 35, and 79. Local supermarkets, restaurants, nature preserves, and parks—including Marlboro’s Big Brook Park—are minutes away, as are Monmouth County’s renowned beaches, Monmouth Park Racetrack, PNC Bank Arts Center, and other cultural destinations. Manhattan is just 37 miles away, or about an hour by train.
