Dominium Promotes Katessa Archer to Project Partner in Dominium’s Southeast Region

In her new position, she will assume an expanded role in leading her own projects on behalf of Dominium from conception through construction completion. She will also continue to recruit and lead teams of associates, analysts and interns - furthering their career development.

Dominium, a leading affordable housing developer, owner and manager announced that it has promoted Katessa Archer to Project Partner in Dominium’s southeast region. Archer currently leads developments in Florida, Georgia, South Carolina and Arizona.

Katessa Archer was hired by Dominium in 2018 as a Development and Acquisitions Intern. She advanced through the company and held several positions, including her most recent role as a senior development associate. Specializing in managing project lifecycles and optimizing tax credit utilization, Archer leads affordable housing development projects primarily in the southeast. In her six years at the company, she has overseen nearly $1 billion in project budgets. Since relocating to Atlanta three years ago, Archer has been instrumental in expanding Dominium’s market presence and advancing the company’s goal of reaching over 40,000 units by 2025.

Prior to joining Dominium, Archer worked as a Real Estate Advisory Intern for Cushman & Wakefield. Archer holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Urban Studies from the University of Minnesota and serves on the Board of Directors for the National Women’s Affordable Housing Network (WAHN).
