Basecamp
Basecamp is located at 1620 8th Street and was originally constructed in 2020. The property is situated in the heart of Boulder, offering modern living accommodations in a desirable urban location.

MIG Real Estate has acquired Basecamp, a 74-unit multifamily property located in Boulder, Colorado, for $35 million.

Situated at the base of Clear Creek Canyon, Basecamp Apartments provide any type of adventurer with the perfect longitude and latitude to kick off their journey. Whether that’s taking to the trails with the beautiful Rocky Mountains as a backdrop, visiting the amazing, walkable retail and restaurants of downtown Golden, or enjoying the on-site hotel and bar, The Eddy.

Golden sits fifteen miles due west of downtown Denver on Interstate 70, where the urban landscape begins to give way to the rugged beauty of the Front Range. Surrounded by huge parks full of hiking trails (and, of course, fairly close to several ski areas), Golden apartments are excellent for folks who like to spend their time outdoors.

Golden is famous as the home of Coors Brewing Company, but like many other Colorado communities there are several breweries around town. Bus and light rail service connects Golden to the rest of the Denver metro area, making it easy to get to work or just explore without depending on a personal vehicle.

1-4 bedroom units with 1-3 bathrooms from 672 square feet-1630 square feet. Basecamp has 5 parks within 11.8 miles, including Colorado School of Mines Geology Museum, Clear Creek History Park, and Windy Saddle Park.

The Walker & Dunlop Denver Investment Sales team, led by David Potarf, Dan Woodward, Matt Barnett and Jake Young, arranged the transaction on behalf of the seller, Confluence Companies, the client, and MIG Real Estate as the buyer.

This past March, Walker & Dunlop also facilitated the $47.5 million sale of West 8th on behalf of Confluence Companies, a sister property of Basecamp also located in Golden Colorado.

Confluence Companies, based in Golden, was founded in 2006. Confluence has nine properties in and around the Denver area.

MIG Real Estate currently owns and operates more than 3.5 million square feet of retail, office and industrial/flex space, more than 1,000 hotel keys, and over 6,500 multifamily units.
