
Peabody Properties, an affiliate of The Peabody Companies, a group of award-winning property management and real estate firms, announces that applications are available now through July 14 for a new supported affordable senior housing development at 3371 Washington Street in Jamaica Plain.
Peabody Properties will provide a full range of management services designed specifically for a senior population and will coordinate a broad range of supportive programs and services for both frail and independent residents, including 24-hour emergency response and an on-site meal program. Amenities include outdoor common areas, a communal kitchen and dining room, and a common laundry room.
The apartment complex occupies a redeveloped site where two small businesses once operated. Both businesses received payments under the Relocation Assistance and Real Property Acquisition Policies Act.

Applications for 3371 Washington are available online or can be picked up Monday- Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. through July 14 at Julia Martin House, 90 Bickford Street, Jamaica Plain. Completed applications can be submitted online or mailed to 3371 Washington, c/o Peabody Properties 536 Granite Street in Braintree, MA 02184. Online and mailed submissions must be received or postmarked by July 14. A lottery date will be announced at a later time.
Information sessions about 3371 Washington will be held June 3, at 11:00 a.m. at Julia Martin House, 90 Bickford Street, Jamaica Plain and July 24, at 2:00 p.m. at The Metropolitan, One Nassau Street, Boston. The sessions will also be available online.
