CENTURION Sleepy Hollow
Designed by Rotwein + Blake, with interiors by Mary Cook Associates, CENTURION Sleepy Hollow builds on Landmark’s vision for transit-accessible living in walkable suburban settings.

LANDMARK is expanding its growing CENTURION brand of residences with two new residential properties scheduled to launch pre-leasing in mid-August, with initial occupancy slated for October.

The new offerings—located in Union and Plainfield, New Jersey—underscore the development company’s continued commitment to delivering modern rental living experiences that align with the character and needs of their respective communities.

CENTURION Union Center
In Union Township, LANDMARK will unveil the newest phase of its flagship CENTURION Union Center development, a transformative mixed-use project that has played a central role in reimagining the heart of Union Center.

This latest addition is a five-story building that will introduce 85 luxury rental residences, an elevated suite of amenities, and 107 public parking spaces, further strengthening the project’s integration into the neighborhood and its overall civic impact. The building was designed by Comito Associates PC, with interiors curated by Lita Dirks & Co, LLC.

Also launching leasing in mid-August is CENTURION Sleepy Hollow, a new four-story residential community located at 1222 South Avenue in Plainfield. The property will deliver 100 luxury apartments, modern amenities and retail space.

While Plainfield marks a new chapter for the brand, Union remains at the heart of LANDMARK’s long-term vision for community-driven redevelopment. The project was born out of a public-private initiative between LANDMARK and Union Township to revitalize an area that had seen little to no new residential construction in more than 30 years. LANDMARK razed outdated structures along Stuyvesant Avenue to make way for a thoughtfully designed, multi-phase development comprising 363 new apartments and approximately 32,000 square feet of retail space. Several phases have already been completed, delivering 182 residences and 10 individual retail spaces totaling 14,836 square feet, creating a successful, thriving hub that is drawing new energy and investment into Union Center.

Today, the community is home to a dynamic mix of neighborhood retailers, including Ayala Coffee, Unity Bank, Norma’s Flowers, Angie Nails, Head & Tails Pet Salon, Pilates Pilates Pilates, bb.q Chicken, Pao Da Casa, Cedrus Salon, and Qsina8, all of which report strong support not only from the steadily growing residential base at CENTURION Union, but from the broader Union community as well. The project has been embraced by the Township and residents alike as a model for thoughtful revitalization that balances smart growth with community identity. Additional phases are still to come as LANDMARK continues to realize the full vision for this modern town center.

“CENTURION Union Center represents the kind of smart growth that not only reenergizes an underutilized downtown but sets the foundation for long-term community success,” said Manny Fernandez, Founder of LANDMARK. “When we created the CENTURION brand, it was with the goal of developing properties that speak to the needs and sensibilities of today’s renter while adding lasting value to the fabric of each neighborhood. Every CENTURION property is shaped by the context of its location, resulting in places that feel authentic, vibrant, and connected to their surroundings.”

CENTURION Union and CENTURION Sleepy Hollow are part of a growing portfolio of branded communities that also includes CENTURION Elizabeth, two residential buildings comprising 114 residences in Elizabeth, NJ, and CENTURION Ironbound, a 72-unit, historically inspired community in Newark’s vibrant Ironbound district. Across all locations, the Centurion brand is defined by design-forward development, contextual architecture, and a commitment to enriching the neighborhoods it serves.

“We’re excited by the traction the CENTURION brand is gaining in a variety of New Jersey markets,” Fernandez added. “These new communities reflect the kind of thoughtful development we believe more towns are ready for: contextual, design-driven, and neighborhood-enhancing. We’re continuing to explore new opportunities across the state where CENTURION can be a catalyst for lasting, community-first growth.”
