Furthering Anaheim’s Rebuild Beach initiative, Innovative Housing Opportunities (IHO) launched construction on an intergenerational 47-unit affordable housing community located at 208 So. Beach Blvd. The 28,327-square-foot property, called Lincoln Beach, will house low-income seniors with 10% of the apartments dedicated to youth transitioning out of foster care. Construction is set for completion by the third quarter of 2026.
Lincoln Beach is part of a larger mixed-income development at the site, which includes 60 market-rate and moderate-income for-sale townhomes developed by Brandywine Homes, set to begin construction later this year.
“Through our comprehensive development strategy and partnership with Brandywine, we are creating an intergenerational high-performance community development model that makes home ownership attainable, and we further IHO’s commitment to social and economic mobility,” said Rochelle Mills, IHO president and CEO.
Thriving, economically vibrant communities start with housing. At IHO, we develop high-quality homes for residents that are affordable and low to moderate income. When combined with our holistic services and programs, we can create vibrant environments where residents flourish, develop healthy habits, and achieve success and stability.
At IHO, we believe housing that incorporates a diverse mix of income levels, backgrounds, ages, and abilities, provides the greatest opportunities for our residents to thrive and increase their personal and economic mobility. IHO is honored that our communities build legacies and bring value to our residents, communities, partners, and investors.
