HSR Breaks Ground on 175-Unit Thorndal Circle in Coastal Connecticut

This three-story, 175-unit multifamily development will sit on 11 acres just a half-mile south of downtown Darien and will be delivered by the second quarter of 2027.

High Street Residential (HSR), the residential subsidiary of Trammell Crow Company, has broken ground on Thorndal Circle in Darien, Connecticut.

Located at 1 Thorndal Circle, the luxury apartment complex will be spread across five buildings with units ranging from studios to two-bedrooms with dens. In-unit amenities will include all-electric appliances, high-efficiency heat pump HVAC systems, and fully electric on-demand hot water heaters. Community amenities will include a clubhouse, resort-style pool, co-working lounge, fitness center, yoga studio, spa and wellness area, golf simulator, and demo kitchen. Future residents will also enjoy extensive green space, including a 2.5-acre nature preserve, dog run, walking trails, grilling areas, and a curated eco-park.

Thorndal Circle will also benefit from outstanding transit connectivity. The community will have direct access to Interstate 95 and Merritt Parkway and will be within walking distance of two Metro-North train stations with regular service to New York City. Residents will also enjoy walkability to dozens of nearby restaurants and shops, as well as the Darien Public Library, Stony Brook Park, and Baker Park.
