McShane Construction Company’s Wisconsin Regional Office was selected to build The Conway at Huxley Yards for repeat client Lincoln Avenue Communities. Located in Madison, Wisconsin, the affordable housing residence will offer 50 units in a five-story building.

Positioned on a 1.7-acre site at 1846 Commercial Avenue, the development will incorporate a five-story podium-style building with four wood-framed residential floors atop a single-story, above-grade precast parking garage. The exterior will integrate Hardie fiber-cement siding with brick and aluminum panel trim. The architect of record is Knothe & Bruce Architects.
Each unit will feature upscale finishes, including luxury vinyl tile flooring, granite countertops, and stainless-steel appliances. Amenities will include a fitness room, community room, mail room, and leasing area. This project was designed to achieve Wisconsin Green Built Homes Gold Certification and Energy Star Multifamily Certification and is part of the EPA Indoor AirPlus program.
