Pennrose Welcomes Will Eckstein as Southeast Regional Vice President

Bringing more than 15 years of affordable housing development experience, Eckstein will lead the execution and continued growth of Pennrose's development pipeline in the Southeast region of the country.

Pennrose, a national leader in the development and management of high-quality mixed-income and mixed-use housing, has announced the appointment of Will Eckstein as the regional vice president of the southeast.

In his role as regional vice president, Eckstein is responsible for all aspects of the real estate development process from initial conception through construction, to lease-up and stabilized occupancy or sale.

“Will’s extensive understanding of the local market and proven experience in affordable housing origination, financing, and development make him an ideal leader for our operations in the southeast,” said Ivy Dench-Carter, senior vice president of development. “With a shared vision of transforming lives through high-quality housing, we are excited to see how Will’s expertise will help us expand our impact and address the region’s critical housing challenges.”

Prior to joining Pennrose, Eckstein served as senior vice president at Harmony Housing (formerly Greystone Affordable Development) in Raleigh, North Carolina.

Eckstein holds a Master of Business Administration from Vanderbilt University and a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He is actively involved in the affordable housing industry, serving on the boards of the Habitat for Humanity of Wake County, National Housing & Rehabilitation Association, National Rural Housing Coalition, and Rural Rental Housing Association – Texas.
