Leon Capital Group, a Dallas-based investment company with a focus on real estate, announced today the development of Lakeyard District, a Class A 364-unit multifamily community at 1000 Lake Ridge Road in Lewisville.

Located on a 15.2-acre site less than one mile off the Sam Rayburn Tollway and near the Grandscape development, the community will be comprised of eight three-story buildings in a contemporary, Texas Hill Country style. The architectural design includes stone, stucco and wood accents. Pre-leasing is expected to begin in August 2019 and the first units are targeted for delivery in November 2019.

“This is a great opportunity to bring a sophisticated and stylish multifamily community to a thriving area of North Texas,” said Carl Starry, Leon Capital Group’s multifamily regional director. “The location is a key feature with excellent proximity to some of the largest employment hubs in the area including Legacy West and Hall Office Park, with even quicker access to the DFW International Airport.”

Lakeyard District will offer a variety of one, two, and three-bedroom floor plans with top-of-market interior finishes including stainless steel appliances, tall ceilings. high-end cabinetry and granite counters. On-site amenities include more than three acres of programmed open space including outdoor TV lounges, cabanas, hammocks, a fire-pit, a dog park and several grilling stations. A multi-level infinity-edge pool with custom water features, and a fitness center that is open 24 hours a day with a yoga and spin class studio, round out the amenity package.

Residents will be near the Warren Buffet-backed Grandscape, a $1.5 billion, 433-acre mixed-use “city within a city” development. The Legacy West development, home to corporate giants Toyota North American, Liberty Mutual, JPMorgan Chase and FedEx, will be minutes away with fine dining, a food hall and upscale retail. Boat enthusiasts will only be a half-mile from Lake Lewisville’s Pier 121 Marina, one of the most popular marinas in Texas.

General contractor for Lakeyard District is LG Wade and the architect is BGO Architects. TBG has been appointed landscape architect, Spiars Engineering as civil engineer, and Faulkner Design Group as interior designer.
