Fore Property (Fore), one of the country’s top 20 largest multifamily developers, today announced the formal opening of two new multifamily communities: Arte in Rancho Cucamonga and Las Positas in Camarillo. Developed and constructed by Fore, the two apartment communities represent Fore’s return to the California market and the continued expansion of its national presence.

“Fore has a long history of developing and managing first-rate multifamily communities throughout the Southern California market, and we’re excited to build on this legacy,” said Jonathan Cornelius, Vice President at Fore Property. “Not only do Arte and Las Positas capture the best in contemporary apartment living, but they also speak to our regionally tailored investment strategy and ability to successfully deliver highly amenitized communities in high-barrier-to-entry markets.”

In addition to Arte and Las Positas, Fore has also commenced development plans for two additional communities in the region: a 330-unit project north of Los Angeles in Oxnard and a 302-unit project in Monrovia, situated in Los Angeles County at the foothills of the San Gabriel Mountains. Fore is also continuing to expand its Northern California presence, with planned communities in Fremont and Burlingame currently under construction and slated for completion in Fall 2021.

Arte, a 182-unit community, showcases the company’s expertise in executing a mixed-use, transit-oriented development on a tight, infill site. Designed by California-based Architects Orange, Arte features a contemporary design with a bold color palette and articulated architectural details unprecedented in the Rancho Cucamonga region.

Located on Foothill Boulevard, also known as the iconic Route 66, Arte offers an upscale living experience, capitalizing on unrivaled accessibility to nearby shopping, dining, and recreation—including over one million square feet of retail within one mile—as well as stunning mountain landscapes. The community’s long list of amenities includes the region’s first rooftop lounge, a swimming pool, spa, two-story fitness center, dog park, karaoke room, outdoor grilling areas and entertainment patio with an outdoor fireplace.

Fore’s second newly opened community, Las Positas, is located in Camarillo, which is situated in Ventura County between Los Angeles and Santa Barbara. The Spanish Hills neighborhood grants quick access to U.S. Route 101, allowing an effortless commute to some of Southern California’s most sought-after beaches and entertainment destinations. Fore identified Camarillo as an attractive submarket with burgeoning employment growth and limited residential supply, which is capped at 400 units annually, and secured approval to develop the 213-unit property largely based on the company’s history of responsible development.

Also designed by Architects Orange, Las Positas pays homage to the region’s deep-rooted, Spanish-design history. Featuring high-end one- and two-bedroom residences, Las Positas offers residents an impressive amenity package, with access to a two-story custom clubhouse, billiard room, large fitness center, yoga and spin rooms, resort-style pool, community garden, and dog park. Adding to its appeal, the commuter-friendly community is close to over 1.25 million square feet of retail, including the Camarillo Premium Outlets, while the surrounding neighborhood boasts access to a variety of popular beaches, parks, and cultural landmarks.

Both Arte and Las Positas are on target for LEED Silver certification, a testament to Fore’s ongoing commitment to sustainability and green building practices.
