Urban Land Institute Welcomes Distinguished Real Estate Leaders to Key Governing Bodies

More than 30 internationally-renowned real estate industry leaders have been elected to four-year terms as Urban Land Institute (ULI) Global Governing Trustees, while numerous other industry luminaries have been added or reappointed to ULI’s Global Board of Directors and regional executive committees.

ULI previously announced the appointment of Diane Hoskins, Co-CEO of Gensler, as the Institute’s new global chair. Hoskins and the new and reappointed members of ULI’s governing bodies are serving terms that began July 1.

“These industry leaders know the vital role ULI plays in creating community among real estate professionals, sharing knowledge and best practices to address complex challenges, and driving transformative impact in communities worldwide,” said Ron Pressman, ULI Global CEO. “Their guidance and expertise will enable ULI to better serve our members and more effectively shape cities of the future that our kids and grandkids will be proud to call home. I’m grateful for their dedication to advancing ULI’s mission and further extending our reach and impact.”

The Global Board of Directors, which is ULI’s principal governing body, provides strategic direction in conjunction with the executive committees for the Americas, Europe, and Asia Pacific regions. The board will continue to guide ULI’s work to connect a global network of interdisciplinary real estate professionals, share knowledge and expertise to solve the most pressing land use challenges, and advance the Institute’s mission priorities to drive impact in communities worldwide.

Newly joining the Global Board as an at-large member is Nathalie Palladitcheff, President and CEO, Ivanhoé Cambridge, Montreal, Canada. The Global Governing Trustees reflect the diverse and global composition of ULI’s membership, with representatives from the Americas, Europe, and Asia Pacific. They are nominated by the Global Board of Directors and subsequently elected to four-year terms by the Institute’s full members. Each candidate’s ULI activity and participation, in addition to industry leadership, are among the criteria considered for nominations.
