CBRE announced that Tom Rugg will join its Debt and Structured Finance platform as Vice Chair and Co-Head of U.S. Large Loans, effective December 1st, 2023.

With nearly 20 years of commercial real estate capital markets experience, Mr. Rugg brings a wealth of expertise to CBRE. He will partner with Tom Traynor to lead the firm’s large loan origination efforts nationwide.

“Tom’s deep relationships and expertise will enable the CBRE Debt and Structured Finance platform to access a wider range of capital sources, providing much needed credit solutions to institutional clients during this challenging period,” said James Millon, President of U.S. Debt and Structured Finance at CBRE.

Mr. Rugg joins CBRE from Deutsche Bank, where he spent the past 12 years and previously partnered with Mr. Millon and Mr. Traynor during their tenure together at DB. Prior to his time at DB, he held senior capital markets roles at Wells Fargo Bank and Wachovia Securities.
