BNE Real Estate unveils their most recently completed development The Ivy, a 245-unit nature-inspired luxury midrise apartment property in Chatham, New Jersey. The property is located within minutes of downtown Chatham and the nearby NJ Transit station, just 30 minutes to Newark, and a 50-minute commute to Manhattan.
The property’s one- and two-bedroom units offer ceilings up to 11-feet high, plank flooring, stainless steel appliances and wine refrigerators, among other features. Select units have additional den space. Minno & Wasko were the Architects for the project.
A complimentary shuttle service is available to take residents to and from the transit station, which offers a 50-minute ride to Manhattan. Nearby highways offer another commuting option with a 23-mile drive into New York City.
Nearby, downtown Chatham features a walkable town center full of shops and restaurants. Other nearby attractions include the Great Swamp National Wildlife Refuge and a variety of public golf courses.
“The way ivy softens its surroundings to create a complimentary composition served as inspiration for the interiors,” said Josh Kassing, senior vice president of Chicago-based Mary Cook Associates, which handled furniture, fixtures and equipment for the property in cooperation with the interior designer, Miami-based ID & Design International.
“The furniture, fixtures and equipment were selected with a dichotomy in mind: refined sophistication and a nature-inspired palette,” said Jonathan Schwartz, partner at the project’s developer, Livingston, New Jersey-based developer BNE Real Estate Group. “It’s a combination that evokes a sense of comfort and home.”
“One of [Chatham]’s main attractions is its classic downtown,” said Schwartz. “There are community events such as farmers markets, festivals and outdoor concerts throughout the year, and cultural attractions such as Chatham Community Players theater and the Shakespeare Theater of New Jersey in neighboring Madison.”
