RKW Residential, one of the nation’s fastest-growing multifamily management firms, announces a series of key promotions and strategic new hires to strengthen its operations and drive continued growth.

Stephanie Garris was named Regional Vice President, overseeing operational strategy for a portfolio of communities throughout the Carolinas. With over 25 years of multifamily experience, Garris is known for her leadership skills, team-building expertise, and success in build-to-rent, lease-ups, and repositioning assets. Joining her in supporting operations, Misty Haskins was promoted to Area Vice President. With a decade of experience enhancing asset performance through data-driven strategies, Haskins has managed a diverse range of properties, including lease-ups, value-add properties, senior living, and retail developments.

Complementing these promotions, RKW welcomes Jennifer Trapaso as a Regional Manager in North Carolina to support the firm’s growth in the market. Trapaso, a seasoned property management executive with over 20 years of experience, specializes in streamlining operations, reducing unit turnover, and driving financial performance.

Further strengthening its Florida market, RKW promoted Austin Carter-Tabraue to Senior Regional Manager and welcomed Ernesto Perez Capiro as a Regional Manager.

Carter-Tabraue brings more than eight years of multifamily experience, specializing in conventional and lease-up properties, budgeting, marketing, and staff development. In his new role, he oversees operations and performance for multiple properties across Florida, ensuring compliance, customer satisfaction, and profitability. Meanwhile, Perez Capiro brings a wealth of experience in property management, having held various leadership roles. His expertise includes operations management, asset performance, and team leadership across a range of multifamily communities.

To bolster its marketing capabilities, RKW announced the promotion of Sarah Randolph to Director of MarTech & IT Services. Randolph now leads RKW’s marketing technology initiatives to drive resident engagement and oversees the Digital Marketing Team, responsible for lead generation strategies across digital platforms.

RKW also added Jose Valdez, MBA, and Euclides Martinez Mella as Marketing Managers.

Valdez, based in North Carolina, specializes in affiliate programs, content strategies, and data-driven marketing. Martinez Mella, based in Florida, has a strong background in marketing strategy, product development, and campaign execution across various industries.

“RKW Residential is committed to investing in talented professionals who align with our mission of operational excellence and superior client service,” said Joya Pavesi, President of Brand & Strategic Services. “These strategic promotions and new hires highlight our dedication to cultivating expertise and building the strongest possible team to support our growth.”

The leadership enhancements come as RKW Residential experiences significant growth and national recognition. The firm’s performance has earned inclusion on the National Multifamily Housing Council’s 2023 and 2024 Top 50 Managers ranking, based on portfolio size. RKW has also secured top rankings for resident satisfaction and operational excellence in the 2024 J Turner Research Division I ORA® (Online Reputation Assessment) Power Ranking.
