NRP Group Names Patrick Carino Vice President of Development

Cleveland-based multifamily firm The NRP Group has hired Patrick Carino as vice president of development, responsible for the origination and management of market-rate projects in the Northeast, particularly New Jersey, New York, Connecticut and Massachusetts.

Patrick Carino has over a decade of experience in multifamily development in the region. Before joining The NRP Group, Carino oversaw acquisitions and development at Stamford, Connecticut-based RMS Cos. and led the company’s expansion into the Westchester County, New York; northern New Jersey; and suburban Boston markets. He is due to receive the “Rising Star” award at the Urban Land Institute Northern New Jersey’s 2024 Excellence Awards in April.

“Patrick’s arrival reaffirms NRP’s commitment to excellence in the dynamic real estate landscape of the Northeast,” said Jonathan Gertman, senior vice president of development in NRP’s New York City office.

The NRP Group is active across the Northeast, Southeast and Midwestern U.S. markets, with 25,000 units under management and more than 50,000 units developed since the company’s founding. Its projects in development in the Northeast include Port Liberte in Jersey City, New Jersey; Reserve at Saratoga Springs in Saratoga Springs, New York; and Renaissance at Lincoln Park in New Rochelle, New York.
