High Street Residential (HSR), the residential subsidiary of Trammell Crow Company, announces that Kevin Hickman has joined the firm as Senior Vice President. In this role, Kevin is responsible for the origination, underwriting, financing, joint venture structuring, asset management, and execution of multifamily investments throughout the Dallas-Fort Worth region.
“Kevin joins High Street Residential with more than 15 years of experience in the real estate industry and brings with him deep knowledge about the North Texas multifamily market,” said Joel Behrens, Managing Director for High Street Residential. “Our team in Dallas continues to grow as demand for multifamily product in the region increases. Kevin is an excellent addition to our multifamily development team, and we look forward to the expertise he will provide.”
Kevin previously served as Managing Director of Development in North Texas for Mill Creek Residential. His responsibilities included managing all aspects of the development process, including site acquisition, due diligence, entitlements, design, financing, and disposition of Mill Creek communities. Prior to this role, he served as Vice President of Development. Kevin has also held leadership roles with PegasusAblon and Sarofim Realty Advisors.
Kevin earned his Master of Business Administration from Southern Methodist University and Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of North Texas. He chairs Uptown Dallas, Inc. (UDI), a public improvement district company that manages and enhances the public realm in Uptown Dallas and sits on the Urban Land Institute’s (ULI) North Texas Multifamily Product Council.
